This course about the political institutions and French constitutional law in the second semester treats specifically the Fifth Republic, the actual government in France, from its beginnings to the changes in the Constitution of 1958. It aims to describe the statute and the powers of the principle actors in Constitutional and political life (the President, the Prime Minister, the ministers, the Parliament, the Constitution-al Council) as well as the relationships which unite them, notably, voting laws, controlling the actions of the government and determining the constitutionality of laws.
